Ships leave from the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal at Luggage Point, near the mouth of the river and about 15 minutes from the airport. No public transport reaches the terminal, so plan on a taxi, rideshare, shuttle or parking. The seasons are reversed, so summer runs from December to February.
