France · Ships call at Marseille, France
Marseille is one of the busiest places to start a western Mediterranean cruise. Big ships use the Marseille Provence Cruise Terminal at Môle Léon Gourret, inside the commercial port north of the Old Port. The airport is about half an hour away by car, and there is no public transit straight to the terminal.
