Miami is where more cruises start than anywhere else on our schedule. Ships leave from PortMiami on Dodge Island, across a short causeway from downtown. Most sailings go to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, so many cruisers fly in a day early and spend it in downtown Miami, Little Havana or South Beach.

Rideshare, taxi and transit

Uber or Lyft costs about $25–30 from MIA and $50–60 from FLL, per car. At MIA, follow the "Ride App Pickup" signs from baggage claim and cross at the middle crosswalk. (Sources: Cruzely, Uber)

Port garages charge $35 a day for overnight parking at Garage AA and at Norwegian’s Garage B, and $28 a day at Garages C, D, F and G. Royal Caribbean posts Garage A rates on its own site. (Source: PortMiami)
